We are all born with unique limitations and opportunities. To be a hero is to do your best, to push the boundaries you’ve been given. Each and every one of us is capable of doing just that.
Seeking the satisfaction of making a difference locally, Medical Wings International member Steve Shielly, an American Airlines employee of 15 years, has passionately volunteered for the Dallas, Texas, area homeless shelters. With five years of perseverance, his love, commitment, endurance, fearlessness, selflessness, and strength of character has touched the lives of many of the forgotten people. Most recently, Steve, along with the founder of Medical Wings Glenda Johnson, started a project for collecting gloves, coats, and hats for the homeless in their area.
“When you can see them as peers, they help to remind us of our own potential.”
~ Steve Sheilly~ Director of Outreach Program
