Healthy
Families
First is an educational program that addresses important health issues in women's lives. It aims at increasing levels of education and awareness on vital health issues, while facilitating relationships among participants. This program was created specifically for the patients who seek care from Medical Wings International. While past mission trips have provided acute medical, dental and eye care in developing nations around the globe, there is now a new component to our services.

Healthy Families First is a three-hour program, and encourages group participation. It offers a range of information broken down into 3 areas; maternal/child health, nutrition and hygiene, and healthy relationships. Our social worker and public health educator teach the bulk of the class, while physicians, optometrists, and dentists get involved to teach certain specialized portions of the class.
